So May 2, 1988 that Mr. and Mrs. Mehret bought this Brewery Michel Demey.
They decided to change the name of the brewery "CAFE DU COMMERCE" to "ORPHEUS" in reference to Jean Cocteau who lived many years in our town. ; OF after all records found to date, this site has been occupied by a "Cafetier - Waiter's corkscrew" since the first census conducted in 1836.
DEMEY Michel succeeded Mr. and Mrs. COCHIN early 80s. Over 70 years this restaurant was owned by Mr M. PRIVAT then Boureille. Mr. MOUROUZEAU was in this bar 60 years while his wife was holding the souvenir shop "THE FINE GIFTS" located at No. 51 to the marketplace. He is responsible for creating the Coquibus hotel located on the road to Fontainebleau, and unfortunately closed to date.

At the 1936 census, it is the café CHAUVET Hilaire and his wife Fernande SQUARE manning the "CAFE DU COMMERCE" . They succeeded to Marcel and Madeleine GIRAULT between 1931 and 1936. In 1926, it was Raymond and Henrietta DAGUET who practiced their craft cafe at this address while in 1921, this is Andrew and Blanche CHATELAIN that were identified after succeeding Albert Berthelot.

Between 1851 and 1915 this bar is owned by the family GAME. This is first and Justine André GAME BALLOUX who bought this "CAFE DU COMMERCE" , between 1846 and 1851, Ms. Bliss CAMUS Widow CORDIER. At age 64, she held the bar with his daughter Genevieve CORDIER in 1836, when the first census Milliacois. We can assume that it had acquired the business with her husband a few years ago.
GAME Andre's wife, Justine is BALLOUX died between 1856 and 1861. So he married Elizabeth ANGEVINE between 1861 and 1866. He died between 1872 and 1876 and bequeathed his business to his son Fernando and his wife Maria GAME REMY. It was between 1896 and 1901, his daughter and her husband Fernando GAME Albert Berthelot resume the family business.
